1. TIGER'S NEST MONASTERY – (TAKTSANG MONASTERY)

Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger Nest Monastery. It is is located in Paro, Bhutan. The Monastery is quite closer to the airport so this could be the 1st place to visit.

The climb to the monastery takes about 3 hours at a comfortable pace but frequent trekker and can complete it in about 2 hours. The best thing about this place is the location and the spectacular views on the cliff which seems as if cliffs are going to the Monastery.

The maximum altitude of the Monastery is up to 3000m.


2. BUDDHA DORDENMA

The majority of people follow Buddhism and they worship lord Buddha as a symbol of peace. And the Buddha Dordenma is one of the major attractions of Bhutan. Standing at 51m height, the idol is the symbol of prosperous and peaceful. The statue was finished in 2015 on the specious occasion of the 60th anniversary of fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The best part of the place is there are one hundred thousand small statues all over the house and each of the statues are exactly looks like a Buddha Dordenma itself. These statues are made of bronze and gilded in gold.

3. Thimphu

Thimphu is the capital of the outstanding country Bhutan. Thimphu is the largest city in the kingdom and is situated in the western part of central Bhutan, in one of the country’s most stunning valleys.
