“Visit the stunning Langtang region and try our non-technical peak climb of Yala Peak.”

With an estimated high altitude of 5,732 meters above sea level, Yala Peak is one of the easiest trekking peaks in Nepal which doesn’t require much technical capabilities. It is located in the border between the roof the world - Tibet and Nepal in the natural serenity of Langtang region. Even those who have no prior peak climbing or mountaineering experience can try and summit the peak. Hence, it is quite popular among amateur climbers who want to begin their mountaineering days with a simple non-technical climb.

Our 13 day Yala Peak Climbing journey commences onward with a lovely drive away from the urban areas of Kathmandu valley to the more pristinely preserved landscapes of Langtang region in the north direction. The drive can take about 7-8 hours to reach Syabrubensi and from here onward we start hiking up for some five days before arriving at the Yala Peak Base Camp. Trekkers march towards Lama Hotel and then to Kyanjin Gompa via Langtang village. Situated at 3,800 m, Kyanjin Gompa is a very gorgeously festooned site where trekkers spend an entire day in order to acclimatize. The following day we shall trek to the base camp of Yala Peak and then prepare ourselves for the summit climb of Yala Peak. During our endeavor to successfully summit the Yala Peak, we will be using ropes, crampons and ice axes according to our climb route. And with some final push, climbers can rejoice as they reach atop Yala Peak and have a glorious view of the Langtang mountain ranges, Mt. Gangchempo (6,388m) and Mt. Shishapangma (8,051m) which is the highest mountain wholly situated in Tibet. With the overwhelming sights of these magnificent Himalayan mountain, we now start descending down towards the base camp and to Kyanjin Gompa. Retracing our steps, we now follow our trail back to Syabrubensi and take a drive back to the hustling Kathmandu city to put an end to our incredible peak climbing journey.

Offering breathtaking Himalayan views and unique cultural diversity, our Yala Peak Climbing is truly a one of a kind trip package which can be done by any adventure enthusiast with adequate physical fitness level to be able to walk and climb through rough terrains.
