Join our lovely Helambu Trek and spend your holidays on the beautiful hills of Helambu region. Travel deep into the woodlands of forested rhododendron trees and lush green vegetation while enjoying the dramatic sight of the crystal clear blue sky as you visit one village one after another.

Our 19 day Helambu Trek commences off with an eye-catching drive to the northern Syabrubesi town of Langtang region. Make sure that you enjoy the mesmerizing natural scenery while on your way to Syabrubensi. From this point onward, we shall now head up towards Lama Hotel and then to Langtang village. During our walk, trekkers can witness enchanting view of falling waterfalls, densely forested trails, small communities of local people and large farmlands. Marching ahead, we now reach at Kyanjin Gompa after leaving Langtang village. Kyanjin Gompa is one of the highlighted destinations of Helambu Trek which can remain etched in one’s memory for the entire lifetime. We are planned to spend an entire day at Kyanjin Gompa and then continue on with our trek by heading towards the holy Gosaikunda Lake which is situated at a high altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level. On our way, we pass through Lama Hotel, ThuloSyapru and Sing Gompa villages one by one before ultimately making the approach towards Gosaikunda Lake. We explore and capture some photographs of the iconic places before trekking to MelamchiGaun. In order to reach MelamchiGaun, we have to cross two distinct passes of Laurebinayak Pass (4,610m) and Tharepati Pass (3,490m) respectively. As we reach the ending phase of our entire trek, trekkers along with their guide shall now start descending down to Tarkeghyang, Shermathang villages and lastly to MelamchiPul Bazaar (8,46m) where they can catch a ride back to the Kathmandu city.

We also suggest you to check out our new Langtang region package of Langtang Valley Trek and Ganja La Pass Trek. The whole trekking duration allows nomad travelers to make the best of their vacation while exploring the less visited trek trails and destinations. Anyone with a good amount of physical fitness level to walk moderately in the hilly terrains can carry out this trek without a major complication as the trek doesn’t go much higher. Contact Three Diamond Adventures today and you can get close to nature & culture of this exquisite trekking region by joining in our Helambu Trek package.

Itinerary

Day 01

Day 02

Pre-trip meeting and sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley.Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site)

This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. An intriguing piece here is the 17th- century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. The Durbar Square is the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. There are also three museums inside the palace building.Swoyambhunath Stupa – The Monkey Temple (World Heritage Site)
Watches over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. The huge stupa is one of the holiest Buddhists sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. Swayambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises.

Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site)
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world and lies 5 kms east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple’s existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River flowing beside the temple.

Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage Site)
Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting combination of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone. Overnight at Hotel.
